Brewing up with disco Dohnut

Aforementioned disco-punk ravers Dohnut headline the event following a raucous and perfectly executed party in the Maison d’etre at Beatherder Festival last month. They’ll be joined on the third Glastonbrewery line-up by a host of musicians, for what is being billed as “the last big blowout of summer”. The event will raise funds for Lancaster charity Bay Aqua Therapy. Festival organiser Zoe Hamilton said: “Following on from last year we will create a true festival feel to the event with funfair rides, craft stalls, food stalls, henna tattoos and family entertainment. “We have another fantastic line-up and are extremely grateful to the bands who are all giving their time for free in order to assist the charity”. The event is at Lancaster Brewhouse and Tap, who are providing the venue for free and all of the acts are playing for free to maximise support for the charity. Zoe added: “There is something for everyone with Coldside, an award winning urban act from Manchester who supported Tinchy Stryder last summer; fellow Mancs alternative rock bands Kazo and Velocets; Blackpool funk/soul band Akin, and Emmott and the Folkestra from Colne whose stomping modern folk shanties carry hints of Mumford & Sons and Frank Turner. “The afternoon set is headlined by The Bedroom Hour, described by BBC’s Gary Crowley as ‘epic, big sounding, widescreen pop-rock’.
