It’s ballet in Wonderland
Renowned company Ballet Theatre UK have taken Lewis Carroll’s famous story about his little friend Alice’s adventures down a rabbit hole and turned it into a stunning new production.
Audiences can follow Alice, danced by Julia Davies, as she pursues Inês Ferreira’s White Rabbit into an enchanted and wacky dream world full of strange characters.

And, along with Daniel Hope, Moore also took a role in the design of the show, which boasts opulent costumes, stunning stage sets and lots of special effects to help create Alice’s vivid fantasy world.
Children can meet all their favourite Wonderland characters including the Caterpillar, the Cheshire Cat, the Mad Hatter at his tea party, complete with a quartet of dancing tables, and guests including a tip-toeing Dormouse and a hyper March Hare – and, of course, the axe-happy Queen of Hearts.
This brightly colourful and spectacular production is the perfect introductory ballet for children whose attention span still isn’t quite long enough to sit through a more traditional performance such as Swan Lake.
