Action packed play not to be missed
Grannies out there better keep their biscuit tins under lock and key.
For after seeing a fabulous performance of Gangsta Granny, scores of children will be hoping to discover a stash of stolen jewellery in their grandmother’s finest tin of treats... just like the main character in this new stage adaptation.

Hide AdIt’s Friday night and boy protagonist Ben (Ashley Cousins) is staying with his “boring”, cardigan-clad, cabbage soup-eating Granny.
But, the 11-year-old is soon to discover his dowdy Granny – played brilliantly by Gilly Tompkins – harbours a rather thrilling secret.
Adapted from David Walliams’ best-selling novel, the play takes the audience on a fast-paced, action-packed adventure with an incredible cast and ingenious set, allowing the show to flow seamlessly.
With comical moments throughout – even in the interval - the polished production entertains all family members from children to grannies, even gangster looking ones.
Until Sunday.
