The monthly Friday night Frog & Bucket comedy club at Preston Guild Hall sees another strong line-up tomorrow.

One of the biggest Scottish acts on the UK comedy circuit, Paul Pirie, will be hosting an evening of top comedy talent. Laughs will come courtesy of softly-spoken Northerner Mike Newall “so laid back he’s almost horizontal”; Jonny Pelham, runner-up in both the Chortle Student Comedy Award and So You Think You’re Funny competitions, now established as one of the hottest names on the comedy circuit; and Roger Monkhouse, a regular writer for the hit TV panel show 8 out of 10 Cats
