With the second lockdown closing seating areas of bars, restaurants and cafes in the city at the beginning of the year, many moved to takeout and click and collect only.
1. Rise
Whether you are after breakfast, brunch or just a coffee, Rise is open 9am to 4pm 7 days a week. The restaurant in Miller Arcade is open for takeaway and has outdoor seating with no booking required.
2. Forum
The Winckley Street venue has opened a covered pop-up space with extra tables in the small car park area next to FORUM. You can visit them between 12pm and 10pm Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Sundays, Thursdays 12pm to 11.30pm, and 12pm to 1am on Fridays and Saturdays. 3. Town House Coffee & Brew Bar
The double award winning Town House Coffee & Brew Bar, serving breakfast, brunch, coffee and cakes is open 10am to 4pm Wednesday to Sunday. The Friargate shop also has plenty of outdoor seating.
4. Turtle Bay
Turtle Bay has been open since April 12 for outside bookings, serving Caribbean soul food and tropical cocktails on its ‘Beachfront’ outdoor area. The reopening of the Birley Street restaurant also saw the return of their daily Bottomless Brunch. You can book your space 10am and 10pm every day.
