A million words of success
The students in Years Seven to Nine at the Chorley school each read more than million words in the first academic term as part of the Accelerated Reading Programme.
Katrina Cubbins was the first pupil to read a million words this year and Lily Hesketh was not only the first pupil in Year Seven to become a word millionaire this year, but has nearly read two million words already.
