Patients get first look at new Croston Village Surgery
Croston Village Surgery’s extensive building improvements will create a larger waiting room, bigger office space, and a third consulting room and new files room which will enable it to store more than 4,000 patient files.
The surgery is also installing the latest electronic patient calling-in system and disabled parking close to the entrance door. It says the increase in capacity will enable it to offer more services within the community, such as diabetic eye screening, counselling, physiotherapy and workshops The first evening workshop takes place at 7pm on July 11 for menopause support.

Hide AdThe surgery is also improving its disabled access and will also have a child-friendly area within the waiting room. A Dementia Friendly practice, it is a training practice for fourth year medical students and has a close relationship with local care homes. It has chosen the colour theme of purple in support of Pancreatic Cancer UK, Stroke Association UK and Inflammatory Bowel Disease UK.
Patients and members of the CCG are invited to have a look round the new surgery from 1pm on the open day on July 5.
