A man has been arrested after an armed robbery at a Lancashire convenience store.
A gunman burst into the branch of Spar on Poplar Avenue in Bamber Bridge on Wednesday night and demanded staff hand over the contents of the till before fleeing with hundreds of pounds.

Police said the lone robber was carrying a handgun and the incident left staff "badly shaken".

The 18-year-old was held by detectives at an address in Preston at 10.30pm on Thursday on suspicion of robbery.

He was being quizzed at Leyland police station on Friday.
