Patrols have picked up a host of misdemeandors, including a Rolls Royce with incorrect number plates, van drivers with drugs in their system, and cars being driven in an anti-social manner.

1. Disqualified driver
This Mercedes GLE 350 D was stopped as it exited the M6 S/B at Junction 28 by road patrols.

2. Van seized
This Mercedes Sprinter was stopped by police in Garstang Road, Preston due to having a brake light out.

3. Overweight
This HGV was stopped on Monday as part of #OpVertebrae. The vehicle was found to be 15 tons overweight and had six defective tyres. The driver has been reported for all offences and the vehicle was cabled until a movement order was secured. Photo: Lancs Police
4. Failed drugs test
The driver of this Ford Transit was too busy on his phone to notice police patrols in Leyland Road, Preston.
When he was pulled over, he also failed a drug test for cannabis and was arrested. Photo: Lancs Police
