£2m Lancashire crime fighting spending plan revealed by PCC Clive Grunshaw
The money will be spread out over the next 12 months and goes towards helping a project which is also looking to reduce youth offending and substance misuse.
The funding includes £325,000 to be split between every district in Lancashire, to spend on local projects that support the commissioner’s priorities.

Danny Barry, PVC Business Development Manager at Preston Vocational Centre said the money went towards the Twilight Peer Mentoring Programme.
Mr Grunshaw said: “This money will support police in the fight against crime and some of Lancashire’s most vulnerable people.
“Providing funding for initiatives right across Lancashire is one of the ways I am keeping Lancashire safe and delivering on my priorities. That is why I fought against Government cuts that would have dramatically reduced the amount we can spend on these services and I am delighted to be able to keep funding at the same level as last year.”
