A special needs teaching assistant has been jailed for 18 months over sexual offences she committed against a 16-year-old boy.

Elizabeth Marland, who was formerly employed at Moor Hey Mathematics and Computing Specialist College on Far Croft, Lostock Hall, near Preston, previously entered guilty pleas to three allegations during a hearing before Preston Crown Court.
