Man arrested in Chorley after attacking shoppers with bleach
Police said the man had attacked shoppers in the town centre with a chemical substance at around 9.30am this morning.
Officers were called to the scene and gave chase to the suspect, before detaining him near the Asda superstore in Bolton Street.
He has since been arrested on suspicion of assault.

Hide AdA spokesman for Lancashire Police said: "This morning we have received reports of a male in Chorley town centre spraying people in the eyes with a substance believed to be bleach.
"We have attended quickly and located the suspect near to Asda where he has been arrested on suspicion of assault.
"Contrary to the belief of the spectators, he has not been arrested for begging."
