Petrol bomb thrown through window of home in Lancashire

The occupants of the home in Crossfield Road escaped without injury but the property suffered smoke damage.
Police were called to the scene at around 1am on Saturday, July 10.
No arrests have been made at this stage.

Hide Ad"This is an extremely serious incident which could have resulted in people being seriously injured or killed," Det Sgt Di Higham, of West CID, said.
"We are treating this incident as arson and have a team of detectives working to identify those responsible.
"Although we cannot release any suspect descriptions at this time we would ask anybody who saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area around the time of the arson attack to get in touch with police."
Officers have also urged residents to check their CCTV and dashcam footage to see if they have captured anything which may help police with their enquiries.
