A wanted man was detained before he could threaten police with a knife in Preston.
A wanted man on a push bike was too slow to evade police and was stopped in Inkerman Street on Sunday (August 7).
Quick actions from the officers meant he was handcuffed and detained before he could pull a “nasty little knife” from his coat pocket.

Hide AdHe was promptly arrested for possession of a bladed article in a public place.
“Another knife off our streets,” a spokesman for Lancashire Police said.
