Officers were left with no choice but to humanely kill the roe buck after it stumbled into the road with a broken leg yesterday (May 27).

The injured deer brought traffic to a stop as it stood helpless in the middle of Tom Benson Way yesterday morning (May 27).

Motorists watched as the roe buck gingerly stepped into the road near a pelican crossing at Savick Brook in Ingol at around 6am.
