The Apple Store, Scorton
The Apple Store Cafe, in Snowhill Lane, sits at the heart of Wyresdale Park, with diners often taking a stroll around the grounds and enjoying towering redwoods, the hidden lake and fountains. They can also seek the company of wild deer and peacocks.
Open Wednesday to Sunday, 9.30am to 4.00pm, dinning takes place in restored glass houses. The daily menu consists of hearty soups, sandwiches, cakes, scones, salads and full English breakfasts.

Hide AdBeyond the gardens are the stunning Home Farm buildings, with their English Heritage listed stonework and, during lambing season, hungry newborn Wyresdale lambs.
Alice's Tea Room, Lytham
Alice’s Tearooms, in St Albans Road, is themed on Lewis Carroll’s classic fantasy book. Treats include home made scones and cream. There are also specially prepared cakes depending on the time of the week Dime bar, Oreo, parma violet, Turkish delight or Alice’s exclusive Wonderland Cake. Afternoon tea, an English breakfast, smoothies, ice cream and frappes are also available.
Garstang Deli-Cafe
Garstang Deli-Cafe, in Market Place, is a popular eatery, which serves a variety of daily specials, including soups, quiches, pies, baguettes, paninis, flat breads and deli platters.
Hungry guests can also enjoy a selection of home made cakes and scones.

Dizzy Ducks, Wrea Green
Open daily Tuesday to Sunday, in Station Road, guests can sample wholesome Lancashire home cooking with a daily selection of homemade soups and freshly baked cakes, scones and savouries. Staff offer a warm welcome, providing colouring books and pens for young visitors.
Callooh! Callay! Clitheroe
Callooh! Callay! in Moor Lane, Clitheroe, is another tea room inspired by Alice in Wonderland.
The devil is in the detailed, with mish-mashed authentic crockery, souvenir cutlery and a map for the floor, all creating a fantasy world away from the hum-drum of normal life. The menu includes cakes, soups, sandwiches, salads and 13 types of authentic blended teas. The team room also offers children’s Mad Hatter’s tea parties, providing invitations, cake and party bags.
Open Monday to Friday 10.30am until 4pm and Saturday 9.30am until 5pm.
