Three Citroen crashes in two hours block busy roads
One man had to be cut free from the wreckage after three cars collided on a busy junction, causing lengthy hold-ups for traffic.
He was taken to hospital for treatment, although the extent of his injuries is not known.

Hide AdAll three collisions happened either late morning or early afternoon and affected three main roads through Fulwood.
The first came at around 10.45am in Black Bull Lane at its junction with Boys Lane and involved a white Citroen C3 and an ambulance.
The road was partially blocked, but police said there were no injuries. It is not clear if the ambulance was on a 999 call-out.
At 12.10pm three vehicles collided at the junction of Garstang Road and Watling Street Road. One was a Citroen, another a Vauxhall Zafira and the third was unidentified.

Hide AdParamedics called to the scene summoned friefighters to attend after one of the drivers, a man, was trapped in his car.
Crews from Fulwood and Preston used hydraulic equipment to rescue the casualty and he was taken to the Royal Preston Hospital.
At around 12.35pm a third collision happened in Lightfoot Lane near to its junction with Tom Benson Way.
Two vehicles, one a white Citroen Emo van, were involved and, while the road was blocked for a time, there were no reports of any injuries.
