Teenage girl taken to hospital after 'collapsing' in the street

A teenage girl was taken to hospital after she collapsed in the street in Tanterton, say ambulance services.

The girl was discovered at the junction of Tanterton Hall Lane and Tag Lane at around 8.20am on May 11 by concerned passers-by.

A spokesman for the ambulance service said: "We were called to reports that a girl of around 16-years of age was found collapsed in the street.

"She was taken to Royal Preston Hospital by ambulance."

The girl's current condition is not known.
