Louis Moult back in training with Preston North End as he battles back from a serious knee injury
Moult has not played since August 2019 when he tore his anterior cruciate ligament and damaged other parts of his left knee in a game against Swansea.
Moult has had three operations on his knee – the first to repair the ACL and then two clean-up procedures to help the recovery.

North End have had to be careful with Moult’s recovery, with him progressing out of the gym to train on the pitches with the fitness staff before the full training session.
He will need time to train and build his fitness before being able to play a game but his aim will be to feature in a game of some sort before the end of the season.
Moult, who is out of contract in June, was a £450,000 signing from Motherwell in January 2018.
