The headline of Preston North End’s victory over Sheffield Wednesday was three players coming off the bench to score.

But what Scott Sinclair, Jayden Stockley and Brad Potts did at Hillsborough in the space of 18 minutes has been done before by the Lilywhites.

It happened at Villa Park in October 2018 when North End drew 3-3 with Aston Villa.
