Man badly hurt in hit-and-run incident

Police are appealing for witnesses after a hit-and-run driver left a man with serious injuries in Lancashire.
A pedestrian, a man in his early 20s, was hit by a car in Lytham Road, Preston, at around 1.10am on Sunday. The incident happened close to the junction with Hardcastle Road.

Lancashire Police said the car drove off after the collision, leaving the man with serious leg injuries.

Police are appealing for the driver of the car to come forward or for anyone who witnessed the collision to contact police in Preston on 01772 203203.
